I have worked extensively in orchestral environments in Australia and the United States. As both leader and tutti I have performed under Jordi Savall, William Christie, Masaaki Suzuki, Steven Stubbs, Richard Egarr, Monica Huggett, Paul Dyer, Kristian Bezuidenhout, Nicholas McGegan, and many others.
Through these experiences I have become very skilled at adapting to the current styles of performance in evidence across Europe, the USA and Australia.
In a chamber setting I am most at home performing the works from the late 18th century, having performed internationally as a member of a number of string quartets.
As a bowed basso continuist I am equally adept. During my time at The Juilliard School in New York, I was employed as an accompanist for recitals from 2014 to 2016. You can put any bass line in front of me, and I will deliver a sensitive and thoughtful accompaniment.
I excel as a soloist. I have a keen interest in 18th century concertos and sonatas, especially those of Luigi Boccherini. I have also worked extensively on both popular and less familiar works of numerous composers, including JS Bach. I have an extensive repertoire, ready to be adapted for the occasion.
